Cycling, although low-impact and great for cardiovascular fitness, is a closed-chain, repetitive movement pattern, potentially leading to overuse injuries. Because of this, rider position on the bike is crucial.

·      Initial assessment

o   Full biomechanical assessment by a Sports Physiotherapist

§  Address issues such as flexibility and strength

o   Video analysis of current rider position and technique

o   Individualised tailored bike adjustments

o   Video footage in new position

o   Summary of modifications and recommendations

§  Appropriate mobility/core exercises

·      Follow-up review

o   Re-assessment

o   Further adjustments as necessary

o   Technique/Training advice
